Ichigo has a run-in with Uryuu Ishida who is a Quincy, member of a legendary clan which was thought to be wiped out completely 200 years ago. Like Shinigamis, Quincys can see spirits and use that skill to get rid of Hollows. However, Quincys consider every Shinigami to be their enemy.
